A grounding gift like no other 💫

Three weeks on from my Iboga weekend, I am still very much trying to find the words to describe exactly what happened for me. I am a seasoned pupil of plant medicines but Iboga did something to me I’ve waited my whole life for and removed a weight I was carrying – I am now peacefully grounded and certain of who I am and my purpose. Audrey is vibrant, tenacious and enthusiastic creating an atmosphere of motivation, beautifully complimented by Roger’s earthiness. Special thanks to warm hosts and amazing shamanic massage and soundbath from Soul Sanctuary. Next stop Gabon 🙏🏻

Healing in the best of hands!

I cannot stress enough the importance of being in the best of hands when embarking on a Iboga journey.

After spending a lot of time combing through providers, I felt called to Bwiti Roots. I knew I was in a vulnerable position and my mind was set at ease after speaking with Audrey. Her and Roger are people who truly want to change people lives for the best. Being cared for by people like this helps ease the unknown and makes all the difference in the world when it comes to this medicine.

My Iboga ceremony with Bwiti Roots has made a tremendous change in my life. It helped me end several years of pain killer usage from a autoimmune disease and several surgeries. Beyond the addiction it opened my eyes spiritually and gave me a direction for my life. You cannot get more than that.

I’m overwhelmed with gratefulness to this life changing medicine and for being led to the right people to help me walk through this.

A million thank you’s to Audrey and Roger!

I am still processing what is coming from my Iboga experience but the experience Audrey & her father facilitated was powerful and I’m grateful for their skill, kindness and power.

Beyond Words

I often joke with people who ask me about the experience by telling them I wouldn’t wish it on anyone but I’m happy with the results. The initiation is the real deal, and not softened up to make it easier on foreigners. If you want the change you seek, this is how to do it. I needed time to process my experience, but I can say without a doubt that I truly love myself and others in a way I never thought possible because of this medicine. This was such a a beautiful thing to be a part of and I will be forever grateful.

I’ve just returned from Gabon after getting initiated on the Bwiti Tradition. What a journey!!! Having a few options I chose Bwiti Roots and I recommend it to anyone wanting to get initiated on the roots of the Iboga use on the world. As a Non-profit seeker project, the retreat money, it all goes to this amazing village. It is a Gabonese initiation, the same one Gabonese people get, it is the real thing, for spiritual warriors only. I recommend for those that are not seeking comfortable fancy retreats.

I recently went on a ceremony with bwiti roots and it has changed my life in so many ways 🌿🙌🙏

I have had trouble quitting smoking marijuana for many years and after trying the medicine i still can’t believe it is like my brain got reset I didn’t even go through cravings or withdrawal symptoms I just came home a no longer wanted it 🌱😮

It was my first time trying plant medicine so I was very apprehensive but Audrey and roger made me feel very comfortable and looked after me very well during the ceremony I would love to get to another ceremony soon ❤️🌱🌿🙌

Bwiti Roots I cannot thank you enough for introducing me to iboga ❤️🌿

The Iboga ceremony with Audrey and Roger was a continuation of my over three years work with psychoactive plants and mushrooms. I’ve experienced Iboga as a powerful and at the same time grounding plant. It has strong impact on physical body, activates multidimensionality of vision, requires full presence and focus for which grants clear insights and direction to work with in the upcoming.

The guidance of Audrey and Roger was very supportive. They create a good balance of bringing authentic tradition and adapting it to contemporary life. With their caring presence I could fully go into the process and relax in whatever was coming up in the moment. I also loved the friendliness and informal atmosphere they created in between the ceremonies, so we could all spend time together, talk and share.

Firstly Audrey and Roger are spectacular humans , I felt super taken care of throughout and the space held was super tight. They are so talented and special and the medicine is clearly their calling.

I love the family aspect of Bwiti Roots and the fundamentals of the charity. I will always support them from now on.

The ceremony showed my aspects of my life I need to amend so I can be my true self. I feel reset mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. My focus to improve my life is very high and I am clear on what I want to acheive and why. Iboga has cleared the cobwebs and I can see again.

The ceremony wasn’t easy for me but wow it was worth it!! Next stop… Gabon 💫🌱🙏

calling to Iboga with bwiti roots

a very safe and tender way to experience the teacher iboga, in a beautiful rural cottage home location surrounded by fields of green hills and fruit trees.. felt very much at ease both while there and in the whole process of getting there and back, from the group chat in advance to cordinate flights and greetings, to the arrival at the airport and drive into the countryside via a quick supermarket sweep for groceries.. audry and roger are both very gentle and attentive.. even before we prepare for the medicine i’d already felt a level of serentity just from arriving at the cottage and being able to breath and relax.. I’d got a little excited at the supermarket picking up lentils veg and spices so got myself busy making a big pot of dahl to share. We’d picked up plenty of fruit too, mangos, melons and pineapples.. and there was lots of water at the home.. we all had a bed each prepared in a calming space, we all had a space to retreat to, it all had a relaxed pace.. I was very happy to have the oppertunity with the group to have a full circle walk around the surrounding woods along green paths and inspiring views across the hills.. all really helped to centre myself with the surrounding nature..

guided by Audry, as we prepared for the ceremony we followed traditional practices of cleansing ourselves and making our affirmations intentions and wishes be known in private.. we all had the oppertunity to do this alone at a dedicated alter specially set in Bwiti tradition.. gifts we had each brought were offered.. our ceremony was in parallel with a ceremony with Audry and Roger’s family in Gabon, giving us extra protection.. be prepared for the root itself to be extremely bitter, i personally found it hard to swallow, chasing it with water is recommened, try not to eat so much on the day of the ceremony, chances of vomiting is likely and actually a threshold point in my experience of where the feelings of discomfort and nuasea give way to a peaceful platue of serenity with floods of introspection and vision.. so don’t be afraid to vomit, buckets are provided, there’s no judgement, it’s an expected part of the process.. my personal intention with the medicine is to seek wisdom, guidance and strength.. to hold a mirror up to myself and to unpack anything causing me a disservice.. to gain perspective.. in all kindness.. I can say it certainly helped me see a few things clearly that i need to.. it’s essential to be in a safe space with facilitators who practice the true traditions.. Audry and Roger were always present to assist and help us feel supported and safe.. with shakers and chimes alongside music playing from Bwiti musicians throughout our journey with the medicine..

the body goes through a lot, it takes recovery time rest and nurishment to get your strength back after the experience… we had the medicine over 2 nights, the 2nd is gentler than the 1st though still a taxing experience to go through.. be sure to be gentle with yourself after.. after we had slept and rested we were able to have time to break our fast with fruits, nourish ourselves and process our thoughts.. i’m still processing..

I’m grateful of the experience.. and happy to reassure anybody feeling the calling to Iboga that Bwiti Roots are for sure going to give the best possible care of experience you’re likely to find.. thanks again to Audry and Roger for your hospitality and the experience.
