I met Audrey and her father, Roger, this past January in Mexico at their retreat. I had never been to Mexico or experienced Iboga before, and although I’ve worked with other plant medicines, I understood how powerful this one could be. As a single female traveler, sitting with the right people was important to me.

From the beginning, Audrey’s organization, clear communication, and genuine care helped me feel completely comfortable embarking on this journey alone.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to reconnect with Audrey and Roger in Latvia, and I’m now preparing to travel to Gabon. In my experience, the real work with plant medicine begins once you return home, and my life has been shifting in meaningful ways every single day since.

One of the most important aspects of ceremony is the integration that follows. Audrey has been wonderful about following up, scheduling time for support, and taking my calls when I’ve needed guidance. I’m deeply grateful to have met her and her family, and to have connected with such a beautiful and powerful plant teacher. You can truly feel the love, kindness, and compassion in every single detail of the journey.

A profound retreat in which I met parts of myself that I am unfamiliar with. I also learned more about the Bwiti Fang tradition and was expertly supported.

I spent a long time searching for the right Bwiti organization, and it felt perfect when I found Bwiti Roots. It was obvious to me because of the beautiful clarity they present—and that feeling was only reinforced when I contacted Audrey, had a consultation with her, stayed in touch from a distance, and eventually joined her for a retreat.

First of all, Audrey is truly incredible. She takes her calling with the utmost seriousness, yet with so much heart, presence, and understanding. She is strong, grounded, and deeply trustworthy in what she does. During the ceremonies, she and her father Roger worked so hard, and it truly moved me.

Much of the negativity I carried dissolved with the medicine. Iboga acts like defragmentation on a computer: nothing valuable is lost, but everything runs more smoothly afterward. By “resetting” my brain, I saw that things don’t have to be so difficult. Fear dissolved, pain and inflammation eased, and my body felt more vibrant. I feel more resilient in facing life’s challenges now. My thoughts, reactions, and self-talk have become softer—with a touch of humor and a more zoomed-out perspective.

All in all, it was a special experience—the place, the structure, the people, the medicine. I’m grateful for my inner compass and the universal guidance that leads me to the right experiences, places, and people. I look forward to experiencing this again with them in the future.

The retreat was truly transformative. It opened my eyes to the incredible power of the mind and the impact of our own manifestations. The experience helped me release mental clutter and return with a clear, focused perspective. Most importantly, I left feeling grounded and confident in my own abilities—a powerful reminder that everything I need is already within me.
